Auld (iPod) shuffle and the New Town stride

The boyfriend/better half (delete as applicable) surprised me on Tuesday having bought me a secondhand iPod shuffle. After I'd wiped the look of shock and "zomgthisistoomuchmoneytospendonme" off my face he said "I thought it'd be good for running." Yay, SupportiveMan! It'll be handy as my 16gig Nano is dying batterywise and getting a bit full, and I can take it to work too. Brill.
